about the author

           Jonathan D. Lindley was born in Manchester, where, as a result of early interests in

science and rocketry, he elected to leave school at sixteen to follow a career in practical chemistry. He then pursued his education on a part-time basis, culminating in a PhD at the University of Cambridge and post-doctoral research in the

United States at the University of California, Santa Cruz

and at Cornell University. Jonathan went on to work in the

pharmaceutical industry both in the UK and in Tokyo, Japan.

 

        Jonathan now pursues a diversity of scientific

and artistic interests, in particular, writing, poetry and

cinematography.

        To date he has three published novels and he has

produced a private collection of poetry.

        

        

        As well as writing the novels themselves, from the

beginning Jonathan has enthusiastically explored the potential
