            Icing cakes in rural Suffolk must be less stressful than the high-powered corporate arena, or so disillusioned exec, Jeremiah Clock, thought when he elected to end his illustrious career. But that was before his acquaintance with neighbours Julian Stammers and

Kathy Murkett, the unlikely purveyors of soft pornography. Clock’s

newfound calm is shattered when Kathy mysteriously disappears only

to be replaced by a doppelganger.

            So it begins. Clock, his former lover, and his new assistant are

plunged into a swirling cauldron of pornography, murder and illusion.

A rave killing and encounters with the erotic Ms White and sinister

Reverend Black set a trail to Philadelphia where a transvestite club

conceals incredible truths. Manipulated by the unseen but all-knowing

forces of a shadowy organisation, Clock’s very hold on reality is

threatened by hallucinations and the blurring between reality and

madness. With his history about to be rewritten, he has no idea that

his fate rests with one enigmatic soul. What will be decided?
